Extended therapy sessions (90 minutes or 120 minutes) can be available upon request. Extended sessions can offer spaciousness and depth for those who need more time to settle in, process at their own pace, or navigate significant life transitions and stressors. If you are wanting something over two hours, I would recommend you chat with me about intensives!
Intensive Rates are agreed upon via during our consultation and will be based off of the package we co create. Anything over two hours will come with breaks for bathroom, snacks, hydrating and rest for our nervous systems before diving back in.
Couples therapy is not covered by insurance because it does not fit neatly into a medical model of “treatable” diagnoses — a reality that is both pathologizing and rooted in colonial, capitalist frameworks that communicate relational healing is not valid unless it can be commodified. Consequently, I offer couples therapy via private pay. My rates are for the session as a whole and are not charged per person. The cost can be shared among all members of the relationship or dynamic seeking support — whether that's a couple, throuple, or another constellation.

There are a couple of different benefits, and I do a more in-depth breakdown here. Some of those benefits include…
You get to keep your health record completely private- No diagnosis or insurance reporting is required
You get freedom around how you do therapy-we get to decide how long sessions are and how frequently we see each other, outside of the constraints insurances puts on therapy work.
This can be a great option for folks with high-deductible insurance plans, who will often end up paying out of pocket regardless because they are not able to meet their deductible in the timeframe required
Good Faith Estimate
The No Surprises Act was designed to protect consumers from receiving unexpected medical bills by requiring all psychologists and health care providers to give uninsured and self-pay patients an estimate of expected charges of treatment. A good faith estimate will be provided to you during our consultation and/or intake appointment as well in your registration paperwork. The total cost of your care will be determined by the frequency and length of your sessions. Click here to learn more about the no surprise act and how it impacts your experience with providers!
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
